Cardinals take sting out of Hornets

The Washburn boys would end their regular season with a win over Harvey/Wells County last week, taking a 7-point home court victory.
The Cardinal boys would keep pace with the Hornets during the Feb. 20 game in Washburn, using a pair of three pointers to maintain a close game in the first quarter.
Heading into the second, Harvey/Wells County held a 14-12 lead.
The Hornet lead would grow slightly in the second quarter as HWC pulled out three three pointers and limited Washburn to nine total points.
