Cardinals fall to Squirrels in first round at State
Central Cass scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take its first lead, and the Squirrels held on for a 3-1 victory over Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton in the opening round of the State Class B Baseball Tournament, May 30, at Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown.
Central Cass, the second seed in the tournament, improved to 20-1 on the season, while WWCS, making its first appearance at State since 2012, fell to 16-12.
