Cardinals clipped by Cougars
The Washburn Cardinals girl’s basketball squad traveled to Turtle Lake last Thursday evening to kick off District 6 competition against a Central McLean Cougars squad that sits at number four in the state rankings. The Cards were looking to capitalize on a tough early season schedule to prepare them for the struggles that often go with the rivalry games of district play.
