Cardinals battle through District 8 Tournament
The Washburn Cardinals boys basketball team entered the postseason with high stakes, traveling to Garrison for the NDHSAA Division B District 8 Tournament.
With only four teams advancing to the Region 4 Tournament, Washburn knew they would need to fight through a competitive field to keep their season alive—and potentially push their way toward a Division B State Tournament berth.
Entering the tournament as the fourth seed, the Cardinals opened their postseason run against White Shield.
