Cardinal volleyball falls short at first game
The Washburn volleyball team traveled to meet Minot Ryan for their season opening game. The Cardinals entered the match with determination and force. The girls fought their way to a 25-17 win in the first game. Unfortunately, that drive couldn’t continue through the rest of the day. “We just seemed to run out of gas. We started making errors in places that we are striving to perfect,” said head coach Stephanie Williams. Minot Ryan beat out the Cardinal’s 25-19 in the second game, and continued to gain strength as they won 25-10 and 25-16 in the third and fourth games.
