Wilton school anticipates growing pains

Growing numbers in the early education grades has the Wilton School Board questioning on how best to prepare for students in upcoming years.
The school board listened to a presentation from ICON at the Oct. 23, meeting. Four members of ICON came to the meeting to pitch their company, which deals with long term range planning for the school, to the board
There is an assessment process looking at what the educational needs are and how the facility does or doesn’t fulfill these needs. The first step would be taking an analysis of building functionality and operations. Faculty and community input and consultations would also be major contributors to the process. The next step is drawing up concept designs and going through meetings tweaking to get the optimal design. ICON would be a helping hand for the school and community throughout the process.
