Wilton is about to get 'wild'

Bounce houses, tournaments, a craft fair and outdoor live music – sounds like a good time, right? Add good food and – fingers crossed – sunshine and you’ve got yourself a summer party.
The 8th Annual Wild in Wilton celebration, sponsored by the city’s park board, will take place Saturday, June 13. Events, including those listed above, are scheduled throughout the day.
All proceeds from the family-friendly event will benefit the city and its many parks. Just recently, Wild in Wilton funds were used to purchase new playground equipment for the community’s many children to enjoy.
The Wilton Park Board’s current focus is improving the city’s softball field, including its benches and fencing. A good turnout on June 13 will help make that dream a reality.
