Wilton Depot sinking

The Soo Line Depot in Wilton is no stranger to restoration, but it’s facing its most difficult challenge to date as workers try to save the building, which is sinking into the ground.
The Depot serves as a museum in Wilton with hidden antiques throughout the multi level station. The Soo Line Depot was moved to its current residency in 1976. The following years allowed for the Depot to be refurbished to its current state.
But the Depot is in need of some more repairs.
The floorboards on the main floor are starting to slope in the Depot, said Wilton auditor Pattie Solberg. The weight of the pagoda on top only adds to the problem as it sets right in the middle of the building forcing down heavy weight.
