Washburn will begin using sirens for weather emergencies
First responders in the city of Washburn will use an existing tool to help notify residents when there is a weather emergency.
Washburn Fire Chief Clayton Verke spoke to the Washburn City Commission on June 12 about going back “to the old way” of doing things when it comes to using emergency siren.
