Washburn graduation parade Sunday

A parade of this year’s graduating class will take place in Washburn starting at roughly 3 p.m. Sunday. After the school's commencement ceremony, which is closed to the
public, a parade throughout Washburn is set to start. The parade will begin at the school on Seventh Street and proceed to Main Avenue, where it will go south for two blocks
and turn onto Ninth Street. The processional will proceed south on Fourth Avenue before turning onto Renner Road and then to Case Street/Border Lane. The parade will turn onto
Northgate Road and end at the elementary entrance of the school. The parade will be led by the McLean County Sheriff’s Department.
