Washburn American Legion hosts picnic to recognize community members
The Washburn American Legion’s Aug. 11 barbeque at the 4-H Camp brought out members and residents from Washburn, Bismarck, Wilton and everywhere in between. Among the honorees were Christian Gardner (far right, Photo 1) and Cassidy Sommer (far left) of the Army National Guard, alongside Legion Commander Terry Gisvold. Also honored was fellow Legion member (and grillmaster) Darrell Hight (Photo 2), while Cottonwood guitarist Keith Koch helped provide the entertainment. (Photos: Ralph Mancini)
