Two children attacked

Two young children were recently bit by a "vicious dog" running at large in Wilton, while its owner allegedly just stood there and watched.
Wilton commissioners listened intently as the families of the children attacked plead their case through a citizen concern form at the Sept. 17 City of Wilton meeting.
The incident happened on Sept. 14 as a group of five or six young children played outside in their neighborhood, which lies within the block of the Wilton School on Dakota Avenue.
Linda Mees is the owner of the dog.
Stephanie and Robert Forney, along with their two children, were the first to describe the incident, in which one of their sons was bit.
The family just moved to town, purchasing a home directly to the south of the school.
