Summer school still a go

Washburn and Wilton Public Schools will still plan for summer school this year, along with several other summer break programs.Washburn will host its Title 1 summer school in June this year, while Wilton’s regular summer school program begins in July. The program will be split into two sections if attendance surpasses 14 students, superintendent
Andrew Jordan said. Also in June, Washburn will have its Vo Ag Supervised Agricultural Experience classes at the school. Both schools wi l l host driver’s education courses,
though formats wi l l be different between the two. “Drivers Ed as a distance learning class because we have too many kids for face to face,” Washburn Superintendent
Brad Rinas said.
