Songfest draws crowd
Music filled Main Avenue in Washburn Saturday night as roughly 50 people gathered to take in the inaugural Songfest, organized by Washburn Area
Churches. Local vocalists and musicians lead the crowd in hymns and a variety of other tunes during the two hour event, which took place in front of the
McLean County Museum and Washburn Veteran’s Memorial. There was no charge to take part in the event and free ice cream was served to attendees.
