Sliding into summer

The Washburn Public Pool will open to the masses on Thursday, though staff will work to adhere to social distancing precautions throughout this year’s season. The pool’s opening day has been set for Thursday, with the facility to be in operation from 1-8 p.m. every Thursday-Sunday from here on out. Life guards for the pool this year include Dawson Beck, Dylan Eckel, Ryder Shoema ker, Sydney Shoemaker, Karly Smith and Jakob Vander Wal. Vander Wal will serve as the lead lifeguard for the pool this year.
