This Saturday, specialty stores throughout the community of Washburn aren’t just opening their doors for business as usual. They’re celebrating the one day of the year that’s designated just for them – Small Business Saturday.
Whether you’re looking for Christmas décor, a unique gift or an essential household item, one of the following stores should have you covered.
Known as "your Christmas decorating and gift headquarters," Chase Drug has a wide selection of winter and Christmas décor to fancy up your home for the holidays. Working on your Christmas letter? Cards and stationery are aplenty at the small-town drugstore. Don’t forget giftware!
Just a few doors down, along Main Avenue, is Scott’s Hardware Store, where Saturday shoppers are encouraged to stop by and register for door prizes. Be sure to get there early – the first 20 customers will receive a free reuseable shopping bag.
Is your wife a gardener? Does your husband enjoy putzing around in the garage? Or vice versa? Scott’s Hardware has just what you’re looking for and then some. Known for always having the coffee on, the hardware store will be serving refreshments on Small Business Saturday.
