Washburn Elementary School’s 5th graders were in a celebratory mood last Friday, when they presented the Washburn Pool Board with a $1,211.19 check for the renovation of the downtown community pool. The students’ latest effort was spearheaded by their teacher, Mrs. Suzy Jacobson (pictured at far right, second row).
