Washburn Athletic Director and longtime coach Pete Moe was recently inducted into the National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) Hall of Fame.
He received the honor during a noon luncheon at the Snow King Resort, Jackson Hole, Wyo., on June 17.
The NHSACA Executive Committee evaluates nominees for the induction based on professional service, longevity, win – loss percentages, awards, professional leadership and personal endorsements.
The committee voted unanimously to induct two, longtime North Dakota coaches into the national hall of fame.
Also receiving the honor was Frank Fish, a retired head wrestling coach from Watford City High School.
"Being part of the induction ceremony in Jackson, with inductees from around the United States, was an awesome experience," Moe said.
