McLean commission moving March dates
County leaders have opted to move their March meeting dates to make the best use of time for each meeting.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the McLean County Commission had to move its February meetings to Feb. 11 and 25 – each meeting scheduled a week later than normal.
The normal meeting times for the commissioners are the first and third Tuesday of each month – that doesn’t fall on the first.
With February’s pushback, McLean County Auditor Beth Knutson asked commissioners during their Feb. 11 meeting if they also wanted to push back their March meetings to avoid back-to back weeks of meetings Feb. 25 and March 4.
“It’s not a big deal if we have two weeks in a row,” Knutson said.
