‘A true testament of partnership’
In an effort to provide recreational opportunities, wildlife preservation and a flood plain to help protect private property, a land dedication ceremony for the Hecht Family Addition to the Painted Woods Wildlife Management Area took place over the weekend.
The ceremony took place June 14 at the old rest area on U.S. Highway 83 located about 4 miles south of Washburn.
