Lignite man sentenced after fleeing, causing crash with local deputy

A Lignite man was sentenced to prison time after pleading guilty to fleeing a McLean County Deputy, which resulted in a crash on U.S. Highway 83.
According to documents received from the McLean County
Courthouse, Colton Lauer, 20, of Lignite, has received a sentence of three years imprisonment at the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for one count of fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, and 30 days for one count of driving while having his licensing suspended.
