Those are three rules of thumb when it comes to fraud or identity theft if you are a senior, or any individual.
McLean County senior citizens got an abundance of information on how to protect themselves at their spring meeting Monday in Garrison.
Grandparent scams, Medicare scams, telemarketers … the list of scams is long.
Apryl Davenport, Minot State University Center of Excellence, with the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities, was the main speaker at the senior meeting.
Davenport said North Dakota is prime picking for scam artists, "because we are North Dakota nice."
