Date set for Isaak preliminary hearing

Chad Isaak of Washburn is set to face a preliminary hearing in August for his four Class AA felony murder charges.
An Aug. 12 preliminary hearing date has been set for Isaak, who is being charged in the killing of four RJR Maintenance and Management employees on April 1. Isaak will appear before judge Gail Hagerty of the South Central Judicial Court.
The hearing was originally set for May 13 before being cancelled and rescheduled for August.
Isaak faces four Class AA felony murder charges for the killing of RJR owner Robert Fakler, as well as employees Adam Fuehrer, William Cobb and Lois Cobb. The victims were found dead inside the RJR Maintenance and Management office in Mandan on the morning of April 1.
Isaak was arrested by McLean County Sheriff’s Department officers outside of Captain’s Cabin in Washburn on the afternoon of April 4. He appeared in court the next day, when a $1 million dollar cash bond was set.
Isaak is the owner of Isaak Chiropractic in Washburn, and formerly owned a practice in Hazen.
