County OK's 2021 Police contract rates

Rates for 2021 police contracts through the McLean County Sheriff’s Department will see a roughly four percent increase over this year’s fees.
McLean County Commissioners approved contract rates for 2021 on Tuesday morning, recognizing the 3.8-percent increase that reflected employee raises at the McLean County Sheriff’s Department.
In all, contracts cost a total of $602,144 in 2020, with 2021 projects going up to $625,025. The biggest portion of the cost is allocated to the two cities with the most contracted hours -- Washburn and White Shield. Each of the two is allocated roughly 20 hours a day of police presence, with the 7,103 hours of annual coverage coming in at $167,322 per entity.
