Civic Club evaluating options

A plea for help sent out by Civic Club last month seemed to yield results, as the group saw a dramatic boost in attendance at Tuesday’s meeting.
“This is more people than I’ve seen at a meeting in probably over a year,” Civic Club president Claudia Scott said to an audience of about 15.
The group spent most of the meeting considering options for the organization, with the main focus on growing membership.
Attendees made several suggestions during the meeting, including doing more outreach to current and prospective Civic Club members, incorporating live streams or video connections during meetings or offering an incentive package to new businesses in town.
