CITY GREEN LIGHTS WILTON STREET WORK
Wilton residents may soon be waking up to the rumbling of jack hammers penetrating their streets, as City Commissioners unanimously approved a water and sewer project designed to revamp local infrastructure in late May.
Civil Engineer A.J. Tuck of Ulteig, a Bismarck-based technical services firm, introduced plans for the design and installation of new water and sewer lines at the Sept. 2 conference, along with the addition of curb stops, sewer cleanouts, new fire hydrants and other accessories on 7th Street, Dakota Avenue, Minnie Avenue and an assortment of smaller roadways.
“We would start our design work in November… and I would have our final plans and specs to you here at your Feb. 17 meeting,” began Tuck, who reported that a subsequent March 23 bid opening would take place at City Hall.
