A glimpse of top headlines in 2023
• Washburn residents gathered Thursday in the town’s ambulance bay to discuss the potential creation of a new sober
living facility – sponsored by the Seeds of Eden non-profit –in the Bunkhouse, which would provide housing for those in recovery from addiction.
• During the meeting several questions and concerns were raised by the community, including the need for trained staff and ample mental health services for residents as well as the suboptimal location of the Bunkhouse.
