The city of Washburn approved a $400,000 buydownon the Washburn Street Project during a special meeting at the end of August.
- On Aug. 28, the Washburn Commission held a special meeting in the morning to vote on a couple of items related to the Washburn Street Project. A public hearing has been scheduled for the city of Wilton’s proposed preliminary budget, looking to levy up to $194,685.35. The hearing is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Oct. 4 at the city hall in Wilton.
