TLMM bests Underwood to advance

Laframboise got the Trojans on the score board first with a triple from the left wing but Parker Christensen gave the Comets the lead 6-3 after a couple of put-backs and a pair of free throws.
The Trojans led at the end of one 11-6 as they put together an 8-0 run the last 2:06 of the quarter.
The second quarter started with the Comets making a 7-0 run to take the lead 13-11. Christensen started the run with a base line jumper and Kayden Hornberger added a triple from the left wing and a deuce from the base line.
Laframboise ended the Comet run with a triple and a free throw and Trapper Jacobs got a mid-range jumper to go down for a 6-0 run to put the Trojans in front 17-13.
With the slow pace of the game in the first half, the Trojans led at the half time break 19-17. Underwood coach Alex Jangula commented, "We played some really good defense".
