Tigers too much for Cougars

Central McLean’s second day of action at the McLean County Shootout saw the Cougars taking on the New England Tigers, a game in
which the Tigers won 59-46. Quarter one of this contest saw a tight back-and-forth between the two teams with New England ultimately
pulling ahead by one in a 14-13 duel. Cougar’s player Cade Kjelstrup led his team’s scoring charge in the period with five points on two baskets. In the game’s next two quarters it would be the Cougars running the show as the group outscored New England 26-21 across quarters two and three. During this stretch of game control Central McLean saw offensive contributions from Owen Anderson lead the way with 10 points across the two periods, including two threepoint shots.
