Sims, Eichhorst, three Cougar relays place in State Track & Field Meet
Lucas Sims and Andrew Eichhorst of Central McLean placed individually, and the Cougars placed in three relay events in the Boys’ Division of the State Class B Track & Field Meet, held May 23-25, at the MDU (Montana-Dakota Utilities)Resources Community Bowl in Bismarck.
Sims came away with third place in the 100-meter dash after crossing the tape in :11.40. Izaak Kudrna (:11.32) of Dickinson Trinity and Cole Ohnstad (:11.37) of Oak Grove Lutheran placed first and second, respectively, in the event. Sims also reached the finals in the 200-meter dash, but his time of :23.20 left him in ninth place.
