The NDHSAA 9-Man Football Playoffs kicked off in thrilling fashion on October 19, with eight exciting matchups determining which teams would advance to the second round.

Round 1 Results (Oct. 19):
• Hankinson 42, Maple River 30: Hankinson traveled to Hope-Page High School and emerged victorious in a high-scoring affair against Maple River. The Pirates’ offensive firepower proved too much for the Raiders to handle.
