Miners take home win over Cougars

It was smooth sailing ahead for the Wilton-Wing boys as they hosted Central McLean Friday.
The Cougars paid a visit to Wilton on Friday for a game against the Miners, who pulled a healthy lead out of the gate.
Wilton-Wing scored 14 from the paint and another four at the free throw line in the first, with a three each from sophomore Hunter Wolff and seniors Brystin Rothwell and Kendal Sondrol topping off the team’s 27 points in the quarter.
The Cougars leaned primarily on two pointers in the first half, with a pair of threes from senior Cade Kjelstrup giving Central McLean an extra boost.
