McLean Mustangs compete and win
The McLean Mustangs competed at the Stutsman County Equine Quizbowl in Jamestown on April 24. Mikaela Woodruff of Garrison competed with the Ward County senior team and won first place as a team. Mikaela Woodruff also won first place individually in the senior
division. Molly Jochim, Bella Wimer, Keegan Wimer, and Hannah Woodruff (all of Garrison) also competed in the junior division.
On May 1, there was a hippology and quizbowl competition in Stanley, where the Mustangs also competed. For hippology, Keegan Wimer competed in the beginner division with Sheridan County and took first place as a team. Bella Wimer and Hannah Woodruff competed in the intermediate division with Ward County and took first place as a team. Hannah Woodruff took third place individually and Bella Wimer took sixth. In quizbowl the three competed together as juniors and took first place as a team. Hannah Woodruff took first place individually and Bella Wimer took sixth.
