Injuries continue to hamper Cougars

Not much is as it was expected to be this year on the Cougars’ gridiron.
Senior-loaded with a backfield loaded with experience, the Cougars were looking for a competitive, post-season-play season.
That started looking a little less likely as the Cougars fell one-by-one to injury.
The cumulative effect of those injuries is resulting in a tough season for the Cougars, as they fell to Strasburg-Zeeland 28-12 in their most recent grid outing at Strasburg Friday.
“It’s been a battle with all the injuries,” commented Cougar Head Coach Kevin Dockter.
And that battle started before the season even did, as senior lineman Marshall LeRoy missed the first half of the season while he recovered from knee surgery.
