Girls on a roll, cage the Wildcats

The Underwood girls basketball team is having a successful season and added another victory to the win column last Tuesday night in Center as the Center-Stanton Wildcats hosted the Comets in a Region 5 matchup. Both the Comets and the Wildcats played a pretty even first quarter, but after the first-quarter buzzer the Comets took control and outscored the Wildcats by nearly 20 points in each of the following quarters. Head coach Toni Cottingham said, "This was the first game we’ve had with teams from the other district in our region." Cottingham was thrilled with the decision-making from junior starter Miranda Pochant who had 11 points and four assists.
