Flasher ousts Comet netters

The Flasher Bulldogs used their home-court to their advantage Nov. 10, advancing to the Region 5 volleyball semifinals by thumping the visiting Underwood Comets by the score of 3-0.
Flasher went into the tournament as the number one seed, while Underwood had to go through the play-in game, where they defeated Turtle Lake-Mercer-McClusky 3-0, to advance to the regional tournament.
Flasher dominated in the first game, winning by the score of 25-6. The Comets were able to put together a more cohesive offense in the second two games, but eventually fell short, scoring 14 and 15 points in those games.
