Flasher burned by hot Cougars

The Cent ral McLean Cougars girls basketbal l team continued their hot streak, winning their sixth consecutive game 76-37 against the Flasher Bulldogs.
The Underwood gym fans were treated to a tenacious display of swarming defensive prowess by a stalking Cougars team On Dec. 14.
Starting with a 2-2-1 half court press the Cougars’ defense converted steals to four consecutive fast break layups in the first four minutes of the game. The first three finished by Ashlyn Smith, who went on to score a game high 38 points on the night. While Smith delivered the points, the entire team gets credit for the win.
