The Trojans picked up wins against Drake/Anamoose and Minot Nedrose this past week, raising their record to 9-17.
The Trojans’ regular season is quickly coming to an end. There are just three matches remaining and all three are region matches. Oct 22 is a home match with Washburn. Oct. 23, the girls travel to Bismarck Shiloh Christian and the last match is a home match with Wilton/Wing Oct. 30.
The Trojans will be trying to win at least two of three matches to secure a home region play-in match on Nov. 1.
Center/Stanton still sits at the top of Region 5 with an 8-0 region record. Flasher and Bismarck Shiloh Christian are tied for second with 7-1 records.
In the first set against Nedrose Tuesday night, the score was tied five times, the last at 11 before the Cardinals took a 19-12 lead after a couple of aces from ReagAnn Humphreys.
TLMM’s Reiser then started a 13-1 run for the Trojans with a kill and finished the set with back-to-back aces for a 25-20 win.
