Cougars trounce Trenton

The Cent ral McLean Cougars took advantage of some excellent field position early on Friday night as they rolled to their first win of the season. The Cougars scored three unanswered touchdowns the first stanza to waltz to a 50-16 gridiron win over the Trenton Tigers.
The Cougars rushed for 106 yards and passed for 72, amassing 178 yards compared to Trenton’s.
Add an 85-yard punt return from senior Kaleb Blotske in the final stanza to the mix and the Cougars dominated the game in every way.
Trenton took the initial kickoff but turned the ball over early on downs. Central McLean found the end zone a couple plays later when Easton Frey cruised into the end zone from five yards out.
