Cougars season ends in Center

Cougars volleyball team concluded their bid for extended tournament play with a hard-fought five-set loss to the Grant County Coyotes during the opening round of the Region 5 tournament in Center on Nov. 8.
Despite a limited roster due to final week injuries, the Cougars clawed their way to within one point from advancing to the round of four. After battling for the previous four sets, the Cougars held game point at 14-12 before a series of misplays allowed advancement to slip away.
