Cougars girls’ basketball sweeps New Salem in home victory
The Central McLean Cougars Girls’ Basketball teams delivered a stellar performance on January 23, earning a clean sweep over the visiting New Salem Holsteins.
With wins from all three squads, the Cougars gave their home crowd plenty to cheer about.
The evening began with the C Squad setting the tone, rolling to a decisive 52-16 victory.
The young players showcased their potential with strong defense and consistent scoring, building excitement for the games to follow.
In the JV matchup, the Cougars kept the momentum going, overpowering New Salem with a dominant 63-9 win.
