Cougars edge out Flasher in thriller
The Central McLean Cougars volleyball team had a relatively quiet week with only one scheduled match, but the contest against Flasher on September 24 in Turtle Lake proved to be anything but calm.
In a thrilling five-set showdown at Turtle Lake-Mercer School, the Cougars emerged victorious, defeating Flasher 3-2 and improving their season record to an impressive 17-2.
The Cougars entered the match sitting atop the Class B Region 5 standings, determined to maintain their dominant run.
