Cougars close out regular season with win over Cardinals
On Monday, November 4, the Central McLean Cougars took the court in Washburn, ready to face off against their neighbors and rivals, the Washburn Cardinals, in the final regular season volleyball match of 2024.
With a near-perfect record, the Cougars were determined to close out the season strong and maintain their undefeated streak in Region 5 play.
Their resolve paid off, as they emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over the Cardinals, securing an impressive 27-3 overall record, with a spotless 9-0 mark in regional play.
