Cougars advance to Region 5 tourney
The girls District 10 basketball tournament turned out pretty much as the seedings had predicted.
Top-seeded Wilton-Wing took the District 10 title over second-ranked Center-Stanton, while third and fourth seeds Garrison and Central McLean, respectively, earned their spots at this coming week’s Region 5 tournament by winning regional qualifiers.
Central McLean earned its spot with a drubbing of Max Saturday night, defeating the Cossacks by the score of 71-25.
