Cougar golfers peak at regional

Three of Central McLean’s girl golfers shot career low scores Monday, as they battled for spots at the upcoming state golf tournament.
Eighth-grader Kennedi Fischer paced the Cougars in the Region 4 meet, shooting a 107, finishing 16th out of the field of 47 golfers, and was just four shots away from qualifying individually in the top 10.
Sydni Diffely also finished in the half of the field, placing 20th with a score of 111.
“Kennedi and Sydnie played really well today,” commented Cougar Head Coach Toni Cottingham.
