Cougar girls comeback, but fall short

The Cougars forged two comebacks this week on the hard court, but fell short in both outings as they went 1-3 in this past week’s girls basketball action.
The Cougars succeeded in a thorough drubbing of the District 10 Max Cossacks, winning by the score of 63-15 Tuesday in Turtle Lake, then fell in the next three games to Wilton, Grant County and Divide County, respectively.
Tuesday’s pummeling of the Cossacks saw the Cougars paced by Hannah Brobst’s 14 points as 11 different players scored for the Cougars.
