The public is invited to a meeting to answer questions about pipelines, oil drilling and its impact to Lake Sakakawea.
The meeting is Monday at 6 p.m. at the Garrison City Auditorium. A free light soup and sandwich meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m. by the Friends of Lake Sakakawea.
Casey R. Buechler is with the Natural Resource Specialist, Oil & Gas Program, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers NW Division, Omaha District, Garrison Project (Lake Sakakawea).
He said this Corps-sponsored public meeting enables the Corps to have an outreach opportunity with the public to inform them about oil activity on Lake Sakakawea.
