Comets meet the Bison in non-district play

Early turnovers gave the host team, the Hazen Bison, an early lead in last Saturday’s non-district matchup with the visiting Underwood Comets. Head coach Toni Cottingham was pleased with how physical her team played. This physicality put Bison players Jessica Opp and Steph Bohrer into early foul trouble. The 15-year head coach did add, "Cold shooting, just 14 for 40 from two-point range, didn’t allow us to keep the score real close."
