Comets dominate Sawyer Flashes

Last Tuesday, the Underwood Comet volleyball team used their practiced skills wisely and managed to win 3-0 against Sawyer on Sawyer’s own floor. The Sawyer girls were down in numbers and fought valiantly against the powerful Underwood team. "The Sawyer girls did a great job of keeping us on our toes," head coach Mary Hefta said. The first set started out with Underwood showing a strong performance, and that continued through all three sets. "Everyone got a chance to play and it was nice for all the varsity girls to accumulate some stats," Hefta said.
